It was a fairly slow and quiet day at Dyke Marsh today but 9 folks still
joined us for the weekly walk. Non bird highlights were the snake vs fish
struggle (see Betsy's pictures from her post) and the Saddle-backed
Caterpillar found alongside the trail. Good birds included White eyed and
Warbling Vireo . A quick trip after the walk to Carl Sandburg Middle
School in Waynewood development yielded up 2 Mississippi Kites.
