Thought it might be you, Suzanne. It's pretty easy to stir up
anti-hunting sentiment on a bird list and it seems only fair not to
snipe from the weeds but to identify oneself when doing so.

Well,
I was not doing so undercover just did not know that there were "rules" that
said I had to Identify myself. I hunt by the law I do not need to "snipe
behind any weeds." I was not trying to stir up things. Just answering the
question of is hunting legal at Dyke Marsh. It has been a hunting sight for
over 20 years. Pretty good duck spot for all to enjoy. Hope I don't forget
to give my name as is "expected" on the listserve
