Va-birders:
Along the Colonial Parkway between Williamsburg and Yorktown this
morning, due to a strong incoming tide, the great rafts of mostly ruddy
ducks on the York River were pushed in towards shore near Felgates Creek.
Many thousands of birds are there, and they were close enough for great
looks from the overlooks. A quick glance found many Redheads and
Buffleheads mixed in as well.
