This weekend the winds were pretty stiff and continued throughout Sat and
Sun. Because of the stiff wind, Saturday brought me to the White Stone
Waterfowl Show were artists and folks who pratice the art of decoy making (wood
carving) were on hand at the local fire house to show the fruits of their
labor. The firehouse in White Stone has been putting this show on for 25
years. While I did not see any live birds on Saturday, the carved water fowl
and the Chesapeake Bayscape paintings and photography were great. There was
some very good work and it was a very nice show.
Today I went to Dameron Marsh located off of Route 605 in Wicomico Church.
