I'm not sure if this has been reported already --
An ad. Curlew Sandpiper with "good color" on the underparts was at
Chincoteague NWR yesterday 28 July, studied between 5 and 6 p.m. on Swan
Cove, from the causeway to the beach, by Mindy Baha El Din, Sharif Baha El
Din (one of Egypt's most highly regarded naturalists), and Linda Millington.
It was low tide, and a Peregrine was harrying the shorebirds on the flats
there as well.
