Hey, the Mattaponi and Pamunkey Rivers Association sponsored a bird walk along
TNC's Cumberland marsh in New Kent on the 20th.
(Species listed below) A number of other waterfowl species were present, the
lack of a spotting scope hindered our ability along the river/creek trail(The
trail had great views from a high ridge on the New Kent side looking across at
the marsh). All in all this was an excellent site for waterfowl. The site also
contains a woodland loop trail with numerous impoundments. I'd like to thank
Leslie, Ilsa, and Ralph for coming along!
(list contains birds from the 19th and 20th) one otter!
