Mary and I Made a quick run thru Craney today after Reg. Bird walk at Hoffler
Creek Ruddy Ducks are
showing up in River along with my first Horned Grebe of the season.
Pied-billed Grebe
Northern Shovelers by the 100s Good #s Of Am Wigeons
Yellow-crowned Night Herron only one I have seen in Oct.
one Am. Golden Plover Hanging out with 9 Black-bellied Plovers
A small group of shore birds with Dunlin, Western S.P., Plovers, and Sanderlings
19 E. Bluebirds sitting on wire with a Am. Kestrel?
Lots of Yellow Rumps a few Palm And a first for My Craney List A Black-throated
Blue Warbler
Both Sharp-tailed Sparrows and a Seaside Sparrow
Lots of Savannah Sparrows
Had Gray-cheeked and a Hermit Thrush had Hoffler Creek in all around 70 species
for the day
