Thanks to Dave Burden, of Southeast Expeditions, CVWO now has display space
in their store next to Sunset Beach Resort, on Route 13, directly across from
the Eastern Shore of VA National Wildlife Refuge. Along with brochures and
other literature, there is a board for recording bird observations. Please
stop in and see what birds have been seen. CVWO staff and volunteers will
regularly mark banding results and other observations and all visitors are
invited to contribute their observations as well. Please be specific about
directions, so that others may be successful, too.
Southeast Expeditions runs sea kayak based eco-tours in the salt marshes on
the Eastern Shore. They are open Thursday-Monday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. until
Memorial Day and then every day until 7 p.m. through October. They are a
full-service outdoor and watersports outfitter, that can be consulted about a
