Hi all,
I went down to look for the CLAY-COLORED SPARROW mentioned Sunday (many
thanks Allen) and found it around 10:30. It was on the ground at the muddy
end of the pond next to the road.
From ~11 till noon an enchanted LECONTE'S SPARROW popped up several times
and perched and looked around and even sang once. Yowza! It was in the
knocked over grass on the right as you go in, about 50 feet shy of the
muddy end of the pond mostly.
Usually I just tape some sparrow pictures on the wall and bang my head
against it, so today was most pleasant:) I shot 100+ photos, if anyone
wants to see them please get in touch.

Good birding,
John
