In addition to all my backyard regulars which have been including yellow
rumped warblers since the fall is a magnificent diminutive chipping sparrow .
For such a little fellow he has a loud and conspicuously long "chip-trill".
I hope he has a mate and is not just passing through although that is
probably the case.
Question to fellow birders: When is a good time to start seeing migratory
birds at Monticello Park in ALexandria?
Happy spring and birding!
