Ive have had a ton of Chipping Sparrows at the feeders over the last ten
days or so. Last weekend I had over 24 at one point. They seem to like the
sunflower chips the best. This morning I had a partial albino/leucistic
Chipping Sparrow. Its head was mostly white with brown and white over the
rest of the body. I have also been hearing some buzzy songs or calls from
the birds in the backyard. At first I thought it may have been the Juncos,
but now Im wondering if it could be the Chippies. I am familiar with their
junco-like chipping song. Does anyone know if they have a buzzy song in
their repertoire? Thanks.
