Had a Caspian Tern flyby as I watched 3 C. Loons from the first boardwalk
platform at Dyke Marsh this cloudy Friday pm...with all this extra-curricular
grebe activity I've been checking out the Horned Grebes in case one turns out
to be an Eared Grebe...it was just about this time (April 1, 2001) that Eared
Grebe excitement started at Dyke, so....Not today though, 2 RNGR and 1 lone
PBG were all I could muster during the extreme high tide...Rich Rieger
