A quick trip across the street in the rain this morning to the lake at
Cameron Station didn't turn up any Caspian Terns...alas, but in addition
to the usual Canada Geese (8), Mallards (2), Pie-billed Grebe (1), Ring-
billed Gull (1), Starlings (many), I did see several male Red-winged
Blackbirds staking out territory and a Killdeer overflying the water. The
latter is a very striking bird in flight.
