VA-Birders,
A Pectoral Sandpiper was a new arrival at Cameron Run this morning,
joining the three molting Short-billed Dowitchers, over 36 yellowlegs
of both species, about 15 Semipalmated, 2 or 3 Least, and 1 Western
Sandpiper. These birds can be seen from the bike path along Eisenhower
Ave. The only parking is at the Cameron Run Regional Park and at the
end of Bluestone Rd. Best viewing time tomorrow will be from about 8 to
10 AM.
