Hello all
I had to be down in the Verona area this afternoon so I stopped by the pond
that is located in back of the Hardees to see if the Cackling Goose was still
there or it has moved on . Well it is still there with about 30 Canada's .
Anyone out there who needs a Cackling Goose for their year list this is the
time to get it . I would think that this group of Canada's would be moving on
by now . But who knows how long they may stay . Travel I 81 to exit 227 & go
west on Rt. 612 to the light at Hardee's & take the road to where the
Industrial Park is this will take you to the pond or just park in the Hardee's
lot . You do not have many Canada's to look thru to find the Cackling . Just
look for the stubby bill .
