I was at Jones Pt. (the last parkng lot) with Rob Hilton, Sherman Suter
& Jonathan Alderfer this (Thurs, 9/18) morning, looking over the river
for any wayward birds. Not much there, so I walked into the scrubby
area on the opposite side of the bike path, and flushed a CONNECTICUT
WARBLER. The bird was very obliging (for me), and was seen well. The
others tried to see it, and Sherman & Jonathan were only able to get
glimpses. Unfortunately Rob was looking in the wrong direction. The
bird disappeared in the brush, but will presumably stay there through
the storm, assuming it doesn't flood.
