As a follow-up to Alex's post, my husband and had I stopped by Burke
Lake earlier (from about 1:30 to 2:30) on Saturday and observed 10
species of waterfowl (Canada Goose, Mallard, Redhead, Lesser Scaup,
Ring-Necked Duck, Bufflehead, Hooded Merganser, Red-Breasted Merganser,
Common Merganser, and Ruddy Duck). Also seen were Bald Eagle,
Pied-Billed Grebe, American Coot, and Great Blue Heron).
