A group of us went down to Occoquan Regional Park after the walk
at Burke Lake to look for the Brown-headed Nuthatch. We found
it at the third brick thingy (culvert) on the left hand side of the road as
you are going downhill. This was about 11:45 am.
It was with a small but very active bird party. Since the birds
were zipping around very quickly and not vocalizing, it was hard to keep
track of
them, but I think it is possible that there are more than one.
