A Brown Thrasher appeared this morning at 10:50 eating what appears to be
sunflower kernels off the ground. Blue Book states: Piedmont common
resident 15 Mar - 15 Oct.
The Thrasher also drank some out of the heated water bowl.
Also among many birds, the Fox Sparrows are still scratching at the seed
placed under the bushes. We have had four Fox Sparrows all winter.
The two Eastern Bluebirds are still coming for the meal worms and freeze-dried
blueberries at their own special feeder.
