All: As I sat staring out the window on Saturday enjoying all the birds
coming into the feeders in anticipation of the weather front I had a brown
creeper make an appearance on our red post oak.
I have had them in the past and they are always a treat. Not a bad inside
the beltway yard bird ;-)
So far this winter has been great for diversity and number of birds. We had
14 (or so) different species of birds at our back feeder on Sat. alone
(including our male and female pileated woodpeckers again!).
Sure does make the winter days a joy.
