Howard Jacobson asked me to post that he and his wife, Helen, saw a possible
Bohemian Waxwing today at Occoquan NWR in Prince Willian County. They said
the bird had
a lot of white on the wing, but did not see whether it
had the rufous vent or not. They had earlier seen a group
of Cedar Waxwings, but this bird was by itself. They were
walking from the big pond to the gazebo with the field on
their left. Of course, this would be a mega rarity but
strange things happen all the time so check out those
waxwings carefully.
