When I worked at the Pentagon some 30 years ago, Bobwhites were often heard
and seen in the empty tangles that became the Pentagon City Mall where the
Ritz Carlton and Nordstrom's is today.

though, as a few years ago I saw one fly across Rt. 110 towards Arlington
Cemetery.
