The juvenile bobwhite, which I reported as being seen in my Falls Church
yard on Monday and Tuesday, was seen agan briefly on Thursday and on Friday
morning early. Then this aftertnoon as I was pulling ivy in my back you
yard, I very clearly heard a distinct Bobwhite call from the far back corner
of my neighbor's yard. This is a distance of maybe thirty yards. The call
was coming from the underbrush in the corner of the yard. I did not see a
bird.
Any chance that a juvenile could be calling?
