Had the rare pleasure of hearing Bobwhite while walking on Ebenezer Church Rd,
Rt. 779 (Loudoun County), near my home last night. Nothing else that unusual
but also saw several Wood Ducks, Purple Martins, lots of Eastern Meadowlark and
several Chipping Sparrows. Also, a few Yellow-rumped Warblers in their stunning
breeding plumage.
