Hi all,

9 members of the Northern Virginia Bird Club had a very
pleasant (sunny!) walk at Blandy Experimental Farm, the
Va. state arboretun near Winchester.  Highlights were:
HORNED LARKS,AMERICAN PIPITS, RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH,
both KINGLETS, WHITE-CROWNED SPARROWS.  Compete list of
the 38 species seen follows. (N.B. the Pipits and Horned
Larks were seen on Rt. 628.  As you follow the loop turn
left at the T junction with 628 and look in the plowed
field on your right.)
