Seven Black-bellied Whistling Ducks were spotted at Back Bay NWR today
(7/21). They were seen loafing in C-pool.

Back Bay NWR is open from a half hour before sunrise to a half hour after
sunset. The East Dike is open for foot and bicycle traffic. The West Dike
and the cross-dikes are closed to prevent disturbance to migrating
shorebirds and other birds. For more information about the Refuge, please
