I did my first survey along the Hike-Bike Trail at Huntley Meadows (Fairfax
County) this morning.  It was fairly slow, but I observed a female
Black-and-white Warbler and heard a singing Black-throated Blue Warbler along
the Pond Trail.  A singing Prairie Warbler and a White-eyed Vireo were heard
near the platform at the end of the Hike-Bike Trail.  Yellow-rumps were and
Common Yellowthroats were everywhere.  An apparent breeding pair of Green
Herons are setting up shop at the North Marsh.
