Six species of shorebirds were present at Leonard's Pond in southern
Rockingham County (along Faught Road, just west of VA rt. 276), at midday
today.

Canada Goose 98
Mallard 7
Blue-winged Teal 1 female
Semipalmated Plover 1
Killdeer 13
Lesser Yellowlegs 1
Spotted Sandpiper 1
Least Sandpiper 2
Pectoral Sandpiper 1 male
Tree Swallow about 50
Northern Rough-winged Swallow 3
Barn Swallow 12
