Renee,
So glad you found it helpful. I can't take credit for finding it, though. I
also belong to carolina-birds, and someone posted it on there.
Whoever invented it did a great job.
Glad it helped.
PS.. I did terrible on it. lol

Subject: Re: [va-bird] Bird counting game
This should be basic training for anyone nervous about doing a CBC!
Lynda, thank you so much for sharing!
I have to admit I was nervous to join my first CBC a few years back
because I had no sense of flock size. I still have a hard time with it,
but this game is a really neat insight into how to get a gist for bird
counting (in large numbers). If only I had known about this a few years
back - I would've gained confidence! It was especially fun to see how my
accuracy skyrocketed after a little bit of experience - just like real
life!
Looking forward to this warm weather weekend for some nice birding, and
perhaps some flock counting!

Dear Birders
I'm sure the CBC counters had fun trying to count flying flocks of birds.
Here's a game I saw on another bird group that tests your count skills.
I'm not telling what my score was..
Give it a try!

And let us all know how well you did (or didn't) do...
Cheers.
