I'll be there (working actually) as DGIF is a co-sponsor. I haven't been
before, but a quick check of historical weather info shows that the average
high temp for Kiptopeke at that time of year is in the low 70's. I can't
imagine that mosquitoes/gnats would be much of a problem, as it tends to be
breezy.
There will be some great workshops and field trips. I reccomend advance
registration to ensure that you may attend the trips of choice. Here's a link

I encourage folks to join us there. These festivals are an important way to
demonstrate the economic importance of natural resources. The more we support
them, the stronger our arguments for habitat preservation are in the face of
increasing development pressures. Mostly though, it should be a lot of fun.
