Hi folks,
Well the Big Year is about to come to an end and I'm still looking for a few
good birds (list is currently at 339). I still have a few gettable birds
including: Lark Sparrow, Little Gull, King Eider, Black-headed Gull, Evening
Grosbeak, Clark's Grebe, and Saw-whet Owl. Then there's always the outside
chance for some real goodies like Painted Bunting, Dovekie, White-winged Dove,
Black-headed Grosbeak, Mew Gull, Snowy Owl, Northern Shrike, and Western
Tanager to name a few.
Anyway....back to my senses!! Sandra and I will be closing out the year in VA
Beach Dec 29-31. We'll be doing the Cape Charles and Little Creek CBCs and
otherwise cruising the coast looking for something good and hoping our cell
phone are ringing off the hook! Please give me a call if you find or hear
about any goodies over the next four days. I will chase just about anything
that even appears to be alive, wild and unrestrained!!
