Visited Bear Creek Lake SP in Cumberland County this morning. The lake had
been drawn down for trail construction and there were extensive mudflats as a
result. This had attracted a GREATER YELLOWLEGS (unusual for this part of
the state). Other highlights were singing YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER and a
swimming GREAT BLUE HERON.
