va-birders --
Janet & I left the Joseph Hensley Ballpark at 3:45pm with the Barnacle Goose
still in residence. It was with @250 Canada Geese in the outfield of the
eastern most field.
It was too dark to get good pictures this late in the day. But here is my
website for pictures of the Barnacle Goose taken yesterday at Lake Cook, across
Eisenhower Ave. http://powersalex.homestead.com/Digiscopy5.html
BTW, for those interested in recording their sighting of the Barnacle Goose at
the Duke Street and Eisenhower Avenue sites, they are located in Alexandria,
VA. Cities in Virginia are not located in counties. The earlier sightings at
Belle Haven and the Parkway all sounded like they were in Fairfax County, not
Alexandria; unless that river thing entered into the calculation. (;-D
