There was an excellent selection of migrant warblers at Banshee Reeks Nature
Preserve this morning ( general public access third weekend in the month )
as well as a few raptors.Warblers included Blackburnian, Bay-breasted , Black
and White ( 3 ) , Black-throated Blue , Black-throated Green ( 10 ) ,
Chestnut-sided ( 4 ) , Nashville ( 2 ) , Magnolia ( 6 ) , Redstart , C.
Yelowthroat
( 10 ) and Vireo 's : Blue-headed , Philadelphia and Red-eyed.
Also Merlin , Sharp-shinned Hawks were hunting over the grassland with
resident Blue Grosbeaks and Red-headed Woodpeckers noted as well.
