Since Val Kitchens' report of this past Tuesday, there continued to be a
build-up of swallows in the Lucketts area. On Friday morning, I saw an
estimated
250 of four swallow species staging on wires along Rtes 661 and 656. On
Hibler Rd. (Rte 656) I saw at least 30 Bank Swallows about 1/8th of a mile past
the
old pig farm.
I also found four Wild Turkeys foraging on the side of Rte 658 (the paved
road off Rte 15).
