VA-birders,
Here are the results of surveys done at Back Bay NWR in Virginia Beach.
Beach surveys cover False Cape State Park as well, all the way to the NC
border. Most of the terns were seen in False Cape.

During the 3 hr. and 20 min. of the impoundment survey, 670 Double-crested
Cormorants were seen flying south in loose "V" formations!
