Today I visited Back Bay NWR in Virginia Beach for the first time. I
thoroughly enjoyed the area and walked the bay trail by the visitors
center, the dune trail to the ocean and the dike trail to False Cape
State Park. I totalled 79 species for the day. Some of the birds I
encountered were:
