VA Birders,
Late yesterday evening several members of the  Buchanan County Bird Club
birded Beaver Knob, a reclaimed strip site in Eastern KY, just across the VA
state line, hoping that Isabel might have blown in something unusual. Birds
found were NORTHERN HARRIER, GRASSHOPPER SPARROW, WOODCOCK, PALM WARBLER,
KILLDEER and E. SCREECH OWL.
Aside from the close fly-by of the Northern Harrier the highlight of the
evening was seeing the incredible sunset produced when the clouds from
Hurricane Isabel moved in.

Following are two links to photos of the event by Ed Talbott III and Roger
Mayhorn.
