[va-bird] Asking questions on the list serve

Hi Lori,
I also have asked questions on the list serve and try to minimize them for 
the same reason you have mentioned.  I think that a small percentage of the 
the people answering on the list serve do not take into considerion the full 
picture, that this is a forum and information should be shared in a positive 
manner.  If we believe everyone to be evil first, than what is the point.
I have been birding with alot of people who post on the list serve and they 
freely share information and have always provided positive feedback when we 
go walking, I  have also had interesting/heated discussions with them as 
well.  Normally when someone provides negative feedback on the list serve I 
have to question their movtives, and I can accept or reject them.  So hang 
in there, find and stick with the folks who provide information in a 
positive manner, there is nothing you can do for the people who provide 
information negatively because they will never hear you.
