Hello everyone,
I visited two of the three watershed lakes in Amherst Co. this
afternoon around 5:30. At Mill Creek Lake there was: Red Breasted
Merganser(1M-4F), Bufflehead(1M-1F), Ruddy Duck.
At Thrashers there was: Ruddy Duck (17)- males in breeding
plumage) and Horned Grebe(1 going into breeding plumage).
Also at Mill Creek I counted 12 Woodcock. They were flying
everywhere. Two flew right infront of me chasing each other. I
hoping the Horned Grebe will stay so I can see it in breeding
plumage
