Saturday morning, the extensive mud flats at the mouth of Hunting Creek
held a nice diversity of gulls (although the numbers were not
particularly impressive).
21 Jan 2006: 0830 to 0945 EST; scoping flats to E and W from the GW
Parkway Bridge; 9 C; S 10 to 25 km/hr; increasingly overcast; low tide
at c 0620, but the flats were still largely exposed when I left;
numbers to E / to W
