My father sent me pictures of the "goose" he has been seeing by the Mark =
Hilton (?) off Seminary Road just west of I 395. As I was beginning to =
suspect, it is a Muscovy Duck even though he said it wasn't. When I =
went to check on it last weekend I found a goose that appears to be a =
hybrid between Canada, and a Graylag Goose from the barn (as there is =
white feathers all around the base of the bill as well as scattered =
around the head and ?upper neck). This latter bird resembles the =
Greater White-fronted x Canada Goose hybrid illustrated in the Sibley =
guide, with a lighter belly and the white sprinkled around the head. =20
