A participant of the Sunday morning Dyke Marsh walk reported that she had
been to Julie Metz recently and seen signs of ATV's being "all over". I haven't
been to Metz for a few weeks and for as many times as I've been there, I have
to plead ignorance of the powers that are. Unless some idiot was brazen enough
to offload the ATV's in the parking lot, these will probably turn out to be
local yahoos who think they've died and gone to hog heaven. If the reports are
true, then hopefully stopping these jerks will be easier than resolving the dog
dispute in Monticello Park and I'm really hoping it can happen in an
expeditious manner. Has anyone else seen ATV damage at Metz?
Is it possible to get some phone numbers posted so folks will know who to
call in case they witness trespassing in Metz by the ATV's...I know in WV,
ATV's
were not able to be licensed so any ATV on a county or state road was illegal
and can be stopped by the cops...Is it the same in VA?...that's enough for
