I led the Huntley Meadows- sponsored fall migrant walk along the Hike-Bike
Trail (King's Highway entrance) this morning, September 11.
Most of the warbler migrants were in the first meadow and the rest of the walk
was fairly uneventful.  We had 2 Magnolia Warblers, 1 Nashville Warbler, and 1
adult female Black-and-white Warbler.  There was also 7 Common Yellowthroats,
including 2 female and a male youngster, scattered throughout the park.

Surprisingly, there was an Acadian Flycatcher still singing along the Pond
Trail.  The walk concluded with 5 Great Crested Flycatchers and 4 White-eyed
Vireos concentrated near the platform overlooking the marsh.  Indigo Buntings
and Blue grosbeaks were nowhere to be found.
