The regular Monday Morning Boardwalk was led by Chris French, Gene Keefe, and
Mary Floyd this morning, June 2, 2003, from 0700 to 0930 under clear skies,
calm winds and cool temperatures.
A great debate concerning the identification of a peep was resolved by the
group agreeing to disagree. 2 to 1, Semipalmated Sandpiper/Western Sandpiper.
The debate was accompanied with an assortment of Field Guides, waving of arms,
and every so slightly raised voices.
The two Mississippi Kites were not seen this morning.
