Variety and numbers here were up from yesterday. Highlights were Tennessee
(1-2), Nashville (1), Magnolia (2), and Canada (3) Warblers; four Summer
Tanagers (2 M/F pairs); oodles of Cedar Waxwings and E. Kingbirds; Y.-b. Cuckoo
(3-4); and around 10-12 M&F Scarlet Tanagers (stopped counting after awhile). I
spent most of my time down around the Fairfax house ruins and field, battery
and the parking/picnic areas below, and over on Brushy Point. I finally found
my FOS Rose-breasted Grosbeak at our feeders at home. We usually have one or
two drop by each year, but always females. Complete Leesylvania list follows.
