Don Mauchline, Mary Floyd, Gene Keefe, and Harry Glasgow led a group of 15
birders on the Monday Morning Birdwalk at Huntley Meadows Park in Fairfax
County this morning, July 29. The heat and humidity, 90 degrees F and 100%,
dominated the walk. 45 Species were seen including a female Ruby-throated
Hummingbird and two Little Blue Herons. A flock of over 100 Laughing Gulls
flew overhead. Killdeer and other sandpipers were seen on the mudflats. The
