A pair of Osprey has returned to the nest on the top of the south portion of
the superstructure of the 14th Street railroad bridge over the Potomac between
Arlington & DC. The nest and its owners can readily be seen by commuters
taking the Metro Yellow line over the Potomac between the Pentagon & L'Enfant
Plaza stations. Last year, three young were fledged at this location. On
especially good days, Metro riders can see an Osprey or two on the south
portion of the bridge superstructure & a peregrine or two on the north portion.
