I seem to recall that the price of gas hit $1 about 40 years ago. If inflation
is factored in, the right-hand price is about right. It would have been more
honest to compare prices at the same station, though. Is it reasonable that
bottled water should cost more than gasoline? I can hardly wait for the
reaction when a carbon tax gets added in. Eric
