#yiv1806523377 P {margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;}Of course, if we can't do
anything to mitigate it, we can just throw up our hands and quietly become
extinct.  The consensus is that our actions are causing it, mostly through
emitting CO2.  Deforestation and elimination of green areas is also helping
things along by not resorbing the CO2.  In the short term, who benefits by our
doing nothing and using plenty of hydrocarbons?  Follow the money.  Eric

Not many(politically minded scientists excluded) disagree climate change is
occurring but, disagree on the following:
-Is it naturally occurring or man made?(global warming).-Can man do anything to
control this warning. - Does climate change cause  the catastrophic events we
are experiencing
Plenty of scientific studies support either view.

If you know anyone who is either a denier or who claims the polar ice is not
melting, show them this.  Eric
